Dolmades
First time making Dolmades! Something I’ve loved for years but never had a go at making myself. Traditionally they’re made with vine leaves, but I’ve made them here with Swiss chard as it’s growing in the garden. Lots of nations also make a similar dish with cabbage leaves which are obviously very easy to find.
The recipe here is a filling of lamb, rice, garlic and spices. But you can add all sorts! Once rolled, you gently poach them in a really good chicken broth until the rice is tender. They are absolutely divine to eat, wonderfully warming and perfect for a cold autumnal day. Seriously fun to make and absolutely delicious, I highly recommend you give them a go!
